Building rules and regulations
To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone, each tenant must comply with the same rules.
The buildings have quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM.
- Please be respectful of everyone’s need for peace, especially during these quiet hours.
- Residents and their guests must follow the rules of the building.
- Breaking the rules could result in fines or the end of a resident’s lease agreement.
Apartment
- Report water leaks and other damages in the apartment to the maintenance company immediately.
- Do not dispose of waste in the toilet or other drains that may clog or damage them.
- Attaching Ikea LACK shelves, interior stickers, and video projectors is prohibited. If you attach any of these items despite the ban, NAL Asunnot will charge for the repairs.
- No changes, repairs, or painting may be done without permission from NAL Asunnot.
- Keep balconies tidy. Throwing items from balconies, loft areas, or stairwells is strictly prohibited.
- Ventilating textiles and drying small laundry items are allowed on apartment balconies only inside the railings.
Smoking
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in apartments. If a resident smokes in their apartment, they will be responsible for the cleaning costs.
- Smoking and loitering in common indoor areas are prohibited.
- Smoking outdoors is only allowed in specifically designated areas.
Waste
- Sort your garbage correctly according to the instructions and make sure to dispose of them in the right bins.
- Non-household waste (e.g., furniture, appliances, electronics, hazardous waste) must be taken away by the residents themselves.
Public areas and outdoor spaces
- Keep the outdoor doors locked. Don’t leave doors open or let unknown people into the stairwell.
- Attaching signs and advertisements, as well as installing antennas or similar objects, is prohibited.
- Do not spit or litter on shared balconies.
- Report any damages in the property to the maintenance company.
- Do not wash carpets in the laundry room or dry them in the drying room.
Fire Safety
- For fire safety reasons, storing items in stairwells or basement and attic corridors is prohibited.
- Store bicycles, strollers, and other items only in designated areas.
- Follow fire safety regulations when storing flammable substances.
Parking
- Parking of vehicles is allowed with the company’s permission only in designated and marked spaces, and only for vehicles in active use (no trailers). Idle running of cars is prohibited.
- Junk should not be kept in parking spaces.
- Do not charge electric or hybrid cars in heating posts unless specifically agreed upon in the parking agreement.
Pets
- Keep pets on a leash outside the apartment. Pets should not disturb residents or soil the building or grounds.
- If you have a dog, ensure it can be alone without barking continuously when you’re away.
- Walking pets is prohibited in areas designated for children’s play or in their immediate vicinity.
Reporting moves
- When terminating a lease agreement, inform NAL Asunnot of the actual moving date. Also, inform us and the maintenance company of the departure of other residents living in the apartment or the arrival of new residents later on.
